Center for Development CEDE is a private institution that provides consulting services for training / extension, education, information, as well as technical assistance for sustainable development.

The programs or projects are implemented directly with its experts and advisers, involving national counterpart institutions, permanently seeking for cross sector partnerships with follow-up capabilities, and with the participation of the beneficiaries of the program and their authorities.

CEDE develops its cooperation actions in United States and Latin America; Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Peru and Bolivia.

Significant foundation for the Institution was the design, implementation and management of the ASTER Project, for training, education and information rural population in the Peruvian Amazonia, especially indigenous communities. From 1979 to 1984 this project performed its actions with the Project FAO/CESPAC/UNDP PER/76/003 Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations / United Nations Development Program, and with the Centro de Servicios de Pedagogía Audiovisual para la Capacitación (Center of Services of Audio Visual Pedagogy for Training) CESPAC / Ministerio de Agricultura (Ministry of Agriculture).
